Actually it was mainly foreigners who did that (or what they did to the Turks, lol). But the Balkan wars were an independent fight, Greece had basically its independence guaranteed by the Great powers after the first Balkan war, so I suppose you are right.

I think you forget a bit the history ...
Independence Revolution started in Greece on March 25th, 1821 (actually 2 days earlier at Agia Lavra Monastery in Peloponnesos) ... Greece fought against the Turks for years till gaining its independence and it was years after thatthe other Balkan countries taking the example and the weakened Ottoman Empire started their own Independence War ...
Great Powers as you call came in Greece help after 3-4 years after the beginning of the Revolution and mainly defeating Turkish fleet in Navarino (Sfakteria island in SW Peloponnesos) ...
The Balkan Wars started many years after (in the meantime Greece was continuously expanding against the Turks) in 1912-1913 ... In the first war all bankan countries fought against the Turks and actually ended Turkish presence in European continent apart Constantinople gaining their independence ... In the second balkan war the balkan nations joined against Bulgaria which at that time was trying to take part of Greece, Turkey and Serbia ... The result was again a win of the allied Balkan nations ...

Actually it was the main powers that sank and crippled basically the entire Turkish fleet and worked out an agreement afterwards for Greece's independence.

After 4 years of revolution ...
And even when they left Greece continued its efforts and during the next 120 years reached its today size having these main powers leaving it alone in 1922 after they pushed it in that adventure ...
